will i need transit visa if i want to go out from the airport

hi i have indian passport and i travelling delhi from auckland through beijing. and i have 15 hours stay at beijing airport to connect my next flight. so can i go outside airport and spend time in hotel or i need to stay at airport? thanks

No, you don’t need it because you are eligible for the 24 hour direct transit. You don’t need to stay at airport. You just need to apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport and then you can go outside the airport and spend time in hotel.
