About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

which visa for an 18 hours stay?

Flying from Germany to New Zealand with an 18hours stopover in Guangzhou. I would like to go sightseeing but do I need to register at the police as it is less than 24 jours and i wont stay at a hotel or friend.

Anschnett, you can sue the 24 hour direct transit for your 18-hour stopover in Guangzhou and you don’t need to register at the police. You just need to apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport and then you can go sightseeing in the city. The temporary stay permit is free of charge.
