About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Flying UK to Shanghai to Hong Kong

We are flying into Shanghai from the UK for a business meeting and then traveling onwards. We did intend flying direct to Taipei but cannot get direct flights. We will therefore have to fly to Hong Kong.

Can we do this under the terms of the 72 hour transit visa exemption??

Julie, if you travel like that, you can make use of the 72 hour free transit in Shanghai.
