About:China Visa

I am Nepali Citizen. I am travelling New Zealand through China. Do I need to apply transit visa?

Yes, you need to apply for one at the PRC embassy before you start this trip.

You should first prepare the required materials including your passport and copy of its data page, the application form, a passport-style photo, the onward ticket to the next destination, personal statement, and other required documents. And then submit your application to the embassy of PRC to apply for the transit G type.

No, you cannot get it upon arrival. You should apply for it ahead of time.
