About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Fly to Beijing after a few days in Hong Kong, to then return to UK

I'll be in Beijing less than 72 hours, but will be arriving from Hong Kong and then flying back to the UK - is it correct that I do not need a visa for this?

Yes, if you only stop in Beijing, you can enjoy the 72-hour free transit facility there.
