About:Ferry of Shekou Port, Shenzhen

I want to take the ferry from Shekou to Hong Kong Central. Last one goes at 16.45 hours.

I assume I have to go through customs in Shekou. How much time do I need to be there in advance?
One hour enough (15.45)?

You need to be there 30-60min minutes before departure. And your time can be enough. Hurry up and good luck to you! :)
