About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Panamanian with student residency in South Korea

Hi this is a follow up to the question above by Lill. We would like to leave the airport and see a bit of China during a long layover. The layover is just a bit over 24 hrs. Can a Panamanian with a South Korean student visa get a free transit to visit china outside of the airport. Or can only change plans in PRC and must stay in the airport. Thanks for the clarification.

If your transit is over 24h you are not eligible to use the free transit and you must apply for a L or G type entry permit in advance.
