About:Exit Regulations of China

Cash limit: I ama foreigner, working in China.

I get paid my salary in RMB and then I exchange the savings of it to USD by the help of my Chinese friends. I am planning to go back my country and I will carry with me about USD 10000. Should I apply for Foreign Currency Holding Permit? I do not have any receipts or invoices of the exchanged money.

You should make a declaration at the customs for carrying cash with the value over USD5,000.
