Extension student X visa to work Z type

Hi,
I am planning to come to China to study Chinese for 6 months (it will be an x2 type). By th need of the 6 months can I change my student to a working Z type (if I find a job then)?

Milene, it’s possible for you to change your student X type to work Z type.
