Traveling from Macau

I am from LIsbon, Portugal, and will travel to Macau and be there for 10 days but I would like to visit Chengdu for 3 days during my stay in Asia. Do I have to get a visa or can I apply for the 72 free transit? Thanks

If you fly to Chengdu from Macau, and after you stay in Chengdu for 3 days, you will fly to a third country or region rather than Macau, you can apply for the 72 hour free transit. Otherwise, you need to apply for a tourist L type in advance.

Thank you, George. So if I go to Hong Kong after Chengdu there will be no problem?
