About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Traveling from Seoul with Qingdao Layover

What if I fly from Seoul-->Qingdao-->Beijing on August 25th, and Beijing--> Seoul on August 28th? Would this qualify for the 72 hours?

Sorry, you don’t qualify for the 72 hour free transit.
The 72 hour policy stipulates that the traveler can only transit in one Chinese city and after the transit, he/she should fly to a third country or region. But according to your travel route, you will stop in two Chinese cities and after transiting in PRC, you will fly back to Korea.
Thus, you should apply for a tourist L type or other type according to your travel purpose.
