About:Policy for Foreigners with Immediate Family Living in China

Hi, i want to bring a nanny with me for taking care of my kid. what should i do?

I am doing phd in china. Can i bring nanny from my country with me to take care of my kid and live with me? Please, suggest some solution.

Samia, I'm afraid it's very hard to take her to PRC. Even you can take her there, she cannot stay too long legally. You can only apply for a tourist L type for her. The best but hard option you can expect is to apply for an S2 type for her. But she cannot stay for more than 180 days with it.
