About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Visa free staying 72hrs

i am going to Beijing from New York transfer at Seoul South Korea then staying 72hours and going to Seoul .
Do I need an entry permit or eligible for 72 hours free transit?

Sorry, the transfer at Seoul makes you ineligible for the 72-hour free transit. So you need to get an L type entry permit in advance.

The 72 hours visa free in only for transit, so you will have to depart to a 3rd country... Since I think what you mean is JFK - SEL - PEK - SEL - JFK, that doesn't count as transit. So you will need a visa. However, if you fly JFK - PEK - SEL - JFK, that will count as transit, and you will qualify for the 72 hours free transit.
