if x2 category visa holders can apply business m type?

Im holding X2 type in beijing and my new company would like me to work for them but we have checked the entry and exit bureau of china, I would like to know the possibilities or else i have to get back to my country to apply for it .

If you apply for business M type, your X2 type will be voided. And if you will work for a long time, you should apply for a work Z type. As far as I know, it’s possible for you to convert your student X type to work Z type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB. You can have a try. But if it cannot work, I’m afraid you need to go back to your home country to apply for it.
