Philippine Passport, a 3-hour transit in Beijing

Hello!
I am currently in Vietnam and I hold a philippine passport. I am a resident of USA and will be traveling from vietnam and I have a 3hr layover in Beijing to Los Angles. I just want to make sure I don't need to apply for a transit visa before hand in June 2016. Thanks!

Grace, no, you don’t need it because you are eligible for the 24 hour direct transit in Beijing. Have a nice trip!
