British citizen applying Chinese visa in Bangkok

British citizen with a tourist entry permit in Bangkok, Thailand.
I'm planning to apply for a basic Chinese visa in Bangkok.
Will I have any problems being only a tourist in Thailand and not a citizen working?!
Thanks
Kevin.

Kevin, there is no need to worry. Because you can provide valid entry permit to Thailand, it’s possible for you to apply for Chinese entry permit from there.

Hey thanks again for the reply.
I meant to say - single entry tourist permit - does that change things?

If so, the chance to get it is bigger. Good luck! :)
