Short overnight stay in Beijing

We are travelling from Brisbane via Singapore (transit 2 hours) to Beijing. We stay overnight and travel to the ship the next day. Our luggage will be picked up at the Airport by the shipping company and delivered to the ship directly. We will be a lot less than 24 hours in Beijing. Are we covered by the 24 hour temporary permit? Willi

Sorry Jacob, did you actually fly to Beijing, get a 24 hour Permit, stayed overnight in a hotel, than transferred to the Ship the next day and had no trouble? As you can see I worry that I am stuck in Beijing without a Visa. Sorry to be nuisance. Willi
