About:Beijing Transportation Smart Card

Can you purchase a Beijing smart card in the Airport?

We will need to get the airport express and metro on arrival and wondered if there is somewhere in the airport where you can purchase the card as this sounds like a really useful item for us.

I am afraid not. But you may buy an Airport Express ticket and take the train to the downtown area. Then, you can buy the card from the Ticketing Counters of all the metro stations, Customer Service Centers, etc.
