About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

inquiry, can I use the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai?

Hello I'm a Canadian citizen looking to travel to Shanghai from South Korea. The trip would be four days in total. Would I be eligible for the 144 hour free entry if my returning flight is back to South Korea afterward. I have a south Koeran visa.

Kim, if you travel like that, you cannot enjoy the 144 hour free transit because according to the policy, after stopping in PRC, you should fly to a third country or region, but you fly back to South Korea. Thus, you should apply for a tourist L type ahead of your trip.
