About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

where to get a free to marry certificate?

We are due to marry in Scotland, my Chinese fiancee has divorce paper, but Scotland requires a free to marry certificate or no impediment certificate. does anyone know where we can obtain this information. thanks

Welly, I think you refer to the single status certificate and she can ask for a single status certificate from her hometown. And then have the single status certificate notarized by the ministry of foreign affairs of PRC and have it attested by the embassy of UK in PRC. Afterwards, you two can get married.
