About:Beijing Capital Airport T3

Hi, we are arriving at Beijing Airport on a flight from Auckland to Terminal 3 at 05:10 AM.

We want to continue the same morning to Xi'an, with another airline. The flights to Xi'an leave from Terminal 2, we could take a flight leaving at either 8 AM or 8.45 AM.

How long do we need to have for all the procedures and changing terminals at that time? We have Chinese visas in our passports, but we need to go through the usual entry procedures.

Oh, I see. It's International to domestic transfer from T3 to T2.
First of all, the transfer procedures are Inspection & Quarantine, Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection - Baggage Claim - Customs Inspection - Going through Transfer Formalities (go to T2) - Security check - Waiting & Boarding.
Then generally speaking, you need at least 160 mins to complete these steps. Notably, take the freebus at Gate 5 F1 of T3 and go to T2 directly. The bus takes around 10 mins on the way.
Finally, according to the above information, the next plane scheduled at 08:45 AM will be a better choice. :)
