Hi. My wife and daughter got an S2 visa of 120 days. Can S2 be changed into S1 type?

Zain, it’s possible to change S2 type to S1 type. But I cannot assure that it can be changed eventually.1

The number of entries on S2 is one. On S1 they are unlimited. Do we need to apply for temporary residence on S2 as well. As in do we need to go to the security bureau within 30 days to change it to temporary residence permit0

Dear, if you hold S2 type, you cannot apply for the residence permit. Only when you get S1 type, you need to go to the security bureau within 30 days to apply for the temporary residence permit.1
