American citizen traveling to Hong kong and Beijing

American citizen traveling to Honkong for 4 days and for 3 days in Beijing,
Do I need a visa?

Sasha, you don't need the entry permit for HK. As for the visit in Beijing, if you take a flight from HK to Beijing and then fly back home, you can enjoy the 72-hour free transit in BJ. In this case, the entry permit for Beijing is not needed either.
