US citizen with Korean business visa

Hello, I am planing to visit Beijing next month with my wife and I wonder if we can apply for tourist L type while in Korea, even though we do not have an alien registration card and what documents we will need to provide if we try to get the expedited service?

Thanks in advance!

Juan, personally, I think you can probably apply for it from the CVASC in Korea even though you don’t have the alien registration card in Korea.
The required documents include your passport and copy of its data page, the application form attached with a recently-taken passport-sized color photo, your valid entry permit to Korea, as well as hotel booking record and round trip air tickets. After, submit your application to the CVASC to apply for it.
You can choose the express service (taking 1 working day) or the urgent service (taking 2 working days). There is no special document required.
