About:Visa Policy of China

Tourist visa for longer than 30 days?

I want to travel through China and want to stay 6 weeks. Can I get a tourist L type for longer than 30 days?

It’s possible for you to get a tourist L type with stay duration of more than 30 days.
If you cannot get it, you can apply for an extension 7 days earlier before your stay duration runs out.

It depends on which country your passport is so you have to state that and check. With my USA passport there were 30 days and 60 days visas, single and multiple entry etc. 30 day Extensions were available at about US$140.
