About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

Extension of the tourist visa

I hope someone could help me with this. I am currently in China with a 3 month tourist L type. I'd like to extend it for 1 more month but is this possible to do in PRC or do I have to leave the country?

Johanna, how long is the allowed stay duration on your L type? If it's not shorter than one month, it's possible to extend it for one more month. You can go to the Exit and Entry Administration Office of the local PSB to extend it.

The original stay on my L type is 3 months.
