1 hour20 minutes between flights

Question

I fly  Air China from the USA and then connect Air China to BKK airport Thailand D o I come and leave in the same terminal and will I have enought time.

Which city will you stop for the connection and your flight code for each trip? You can check the terninal on your ticket directly. 1 hour 20min seems very limited, usually i think it would be safer to leave at least 2 hours between.
