About:Shanghai Metro Transfer - Line 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

trip duration from pudong airport to langao station on line 7

We would like to take Maglev to Longyang Road station, then the subway to Langao Road station. Is it faster to transfer to Line 2 to Jing'an, then Line 7 to Langao, or take Line 7 the whole way? What the trip duration be?

Hi, Lydia. It takes about 8min from PVG to Longyang Road. Then you need to spend about 45min on metro to Longgao Road. If taking metro for the whole trip, the travel time is around 85min.

Thanks. And which is faster, line 2 to line 7 (13 stop with a transfer) or line 7 the whole way (17 stops, no transfers)7?

Oh, the ways with metro take almost the same. But if I were you, I would take line 7 for a direct travel to avoid transfer.
