About:Hong Kong International Airport

Is there a separate MTR station in HKIA or is the airport express train is the MTR station itself?

where is this located in HKIA?

Yeah, you are right. There is no separate MTR station in the airport, and the airport express station is actually is the MTR station itself. Upon landing at the arrival lobby, you will see a round table selling the ticket. There are obvious English signs showing the direction to take the express. Don’t worry, you will find your way easily.

thanks for the reply. what is the operating hours of the airport express? I heard that there's a free shuttle bus in Kowloon station going to any hotel if we're taking this airport express. our hotel is within the Tsim Sha Tsui area.

1. The service hours of Airport Express are from 05:54 to 00:48 at intervals of 12 mins.

2. If you are exrpess train passengers, you are allowed to enjoy the free shuttle bus service. However, the free shuttle bus cannot take you to every hotel in that area. They have specific routes and covers several hotels.
Thus you can provide the hotel name. Then I can tell you which bus line you should take.

we're actually staying in one of the hostels in mirador mansion. hope the free shuttle bus will pass through even just near that building.

Oh, I see. You can take AE to get to Kowloon Station first. Then take free shuttle bus line K4 to arrive at Sheraton Hotel & Towers / East Tsim Sha Tsui. After arriving, walk northwest around 330 yards (300 meters) to find the destination.

The bus line K4 is available from 06:12 to 23:12. The frequency is 12 minutes. :)
