how to apply for a Tourist visa to China

My name is Dr. Oso Abayomi Timothy, a Nigerian, working with a State Government as a Medical Doctor, wants to have a 2 weeks holiday in PRC next year for tourist, this is my first time of travel to PRC, how should I go about it? Where is the best tourist centre to visit, what is the financial implication?

You should first prepare those materials including the completed application with a recently-taken passport-style photo attached, your passport and copy of its data page, as well as accommodation booking record and round trip air tickets. Afterwards, submit your application to the embassy of PRC to apply for a tourist L type.

You are advised to visit Beijing where you can visit the Great Wall, Forbidden City, Summer Palace etc; and then visit the Terracotta Warriors, Big Wild Goose Pagoda and City Wall in Xian. Later, you can have a tour in Shanghai and Guilin.
Usually, you should prepare at least CNY15,000 – CNY20,000 for your travel (including transportation fees and hotel reservation).
