check in baggage at shekou port

Question

I am planning to take 1530/1630 ferry from shekou to HK airport as my flight is in the night 8 pm. Is it possible i can take ferry ticket at 9 am in the morning on the same day to avoid hasle? Also can i check in my baggage at cathay pacific counter in the morning itself so that i can roam around shekou for few hours.? Please suggest.

Yes, you can take the ferry at around 09:00. And I've checked the information on the website, you can enjoy the pre check-in service at the port because you are the air passenger of Cathay Pacific. You can deliver only one luggage free of charge. It shall not exceed 30kg. In addition, CNY 30 per piece shall be charged for the extra baggage. Notably, you'd better to arrive at Skypier about 120 minutes before the flight departure time. And you shall arrive before the registration counter stopping service (30 minutes before the ferry departure).

Yes, you can pre-check in at 09:00 and then take the ferry at 15:30. Don't worry. :)

Just replying here in case someone else needs it as I was looking for the same answers but to a different airline.  There is a baggage check counter at the far end of the ferry terminal at ground level (same as where you enter the building).  There is an office there that can store bags for 15rmb per day.  The compnay seems to be a cruise line company but I am unsure as it's in Chinese and I can't read.  They also have a service that can plastic wrap your bag at 30rmb per bag.

Shekou port is closed. You have to enter Hong Kong by land. No other way + 14 days quarantine.
