entry through beijing

Question

Flying direct to Beijing from Canada, then transit to Shanghai. How long does it take to get through customs? I have 3hour transit time. Also arriving at10:30 pm in Pudong. Are there airport buses operating past 10:30 pm, and how long does it take from Pudong airport to Songjiang district.

Do you mean that your flight route is Canada - Beijing - SH?If yes, generally speaking, three hours are enough for you to finish the International - Domestic transfer procedures at the Capital Airport. So don't worry. Upon landing at PVG, you can get the shuttle bus Night Line to get to Hongqiao East Transportation Hub Center first. This bus line serves until 45 minutes after the final flight arrival. The ticket fare is about CNY 30 per person. After arriving, there is no public transportation. You need to take a taxi to get to your destination in Songjiang District. The whole way takes 70 -80 mins.
