Card Passes for Transport Bus/Ferry/MRT/Taxi for Hongkong and Macau

In HK, you can buy octopus cards, which can go used to take MTR, buses, taxis, ferries, trams, and even go shopping. But it cannot be used to pay entrance fees of attractions.

In Macau, you can buy Macau Pass Travel Card. It can be used on buses, at convenient stores, supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, etc. It cannot be used to pay admission fees of attractions, either.
