About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Di i need separate visa for Hong Kong even if i am having valid chinese entry permit

Hello,
I am an Indian Citizen and I am planning to visit China during this April. I will be going directly to Hong Kong and stay there for 1 day and then will proceed to mainland PRC via train. In mainland PRC i will be staying back for 16 days and then returning back to Hong Kong and stay there for 3 or 4 days to visit local places and take the return flight to India.
So my doubt is whether i need to apply for a separate Hong Kong entry permit ? Because i came across some answers saying that only 14 days free entry is allowed to Indian passport holders.
Thank You.

Yes, Dinny, only 14 days free entry in given to Indian passport holders, but it's ok. You can get another 14-day free entry after you return from the mainland. So I don't think you need a seperate entry permit for HK. You can confirm this with the CVASC office or Chinese embassy.
