About:Transfer in T3 of Beijing Capital Airport

Domestic to international transfer baggage claim at Beijing airport

I will be doing a D->I transfer at PEK. It will be from CAN to PEK with Air China and then transfer to EWR with United Airline. I do not see baggage claim in the transfer guide for arriving domestically and transfer international. I feel that Air China will not transfer my checked bags to United Airline. If so, in which step should I claim my bags? And where would it be located?? I think I only have maybe less than 2 hours of layover time. Is this enough???

The situation belongs to Domestic to International Transfer in T3.
If you bought the interline tickets, you don't worry about the luggage. The procedures are Flight Arrival & Transfer Procedures - Inspection & Quarantine - Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection - Security Check - Customs inspection - Waiting & Boarding.

If you are not interline tickets holder, you need to consult the airline and see whether if they have luggage check through service. If they don't provide this service, you need to go directly to the Baggage Claim Hall, and then go through the following domestic departure procedures: baggage checking/boarding pass obtaining, security check, waiting and boarding.

Besides, to be honest, your time is tight. You need to finish the transfer procedures as soon as possible.
