Do I need any certification of kinship for my Mum to visit me in China?

I'm Robert Kimani, a Kenyan citizen living and working in China. My wife is in China and we have 2 kids. I want to apply S visa for my mum who's due to visit April 2016. Does she need notazed certification or certification of kinship? If yes, where do I get it?
Thanks.

Robert, notarized kinship certificate is required for the application for S type. You can provide your birth certificate to prove the relationship between you and your mother.
