About:Chinese Embassy in Nepal

transit visa for Hong Kong just for 1 week stay

Dear Sir,

Myself and wife are planning to go to Japan to meet our family members but enroute to Japan we would like to stay just for maximum one week in Hong Kong for a short sight seeing visit, would you therefore kindly advise me accordingly.

Hi there! If so, you can apply for a tourist entry permit to HK ahead of your trip. You need to prepare the following documents first:
1. Copy of your passport
2. The completed application form affixed with a passport-sized color photo taken recently
3. Transportation arrangement and hotel reservation
4. Proof of your financial support
5. Proof of travel purpose to HK
If it’s the first time you apply for it, you should post your application to HK immigration department direct to apply for it.
