About:China Family Reunion Visa

legal employment in China on a Q1 visa

Can one seek legal employment in China on a Q1 type or would the Q1 need to be converted to a Z type ?

You need to convert Q1 type to work Z type first, and then you are allowed to work in PRC legally.
