Possible to visit Shenzhen (Window of the World + Dongmen Pedestrian Street) for half day?

Hi,

My friend and I plan to make a side trip to Shenzhen while in Hongkong during end/April or first week May. Is it possible to visit Shenzhen for half day only from Hongkong? We plan to go by train to Shenzhen (for example, leaving from Tsim Tsa Tsui Station at 2:00 pm). Would there be enough time for us to visit the Window of the World plus Dongmen Pedestrian Street for some shopping? What time do these establishments close? What is the time for the last train from Shenzhen to Hongkong?

Thanks in advance for your response.

Best regards,

CJ

I don't think it is possible to visit both Window of the World and Dongmen Pedestrian Street for half day. Actually, it is a bit rush to visit Window of the World for half day as there are so much to see in it. The site closes at 22:30 and most shops at Dongmen Street closes at around 23:00 in the evening.
