About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

do i have to apply on arrival or from here new zealand

I am flying to india I have a layover of 15 hrs and do I require a transit visa to go outside if yes do I have to apply from here or I can have it on arrival ?

You don’t need to apply for an entry permit because you are eligible for the direct transit and you can apply for it upon arriaval. When you get off the plane, you can apply for a temporary stay permit at the immigration inspection office and it’s free of charge. After that, you can leave the airport.

But i am not a new zealand citizen i am Indian student studying in Auckland . So still i can apply on arival or i have to apply from here . I have an indian passport
