About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

seaman flying to Shanghai, 72 hour free transit?

Hello, i'm supposed to fly from Romania to Shanghai on the 21 of march and embark my cruise ship as i have a seaman book and i work on it. Am i entitled to a 72 hours visa free transit ? Thank you

Alexia, if you have a confirmed ticket for the cruise ship, you can make use of the 144-hour free transit in Shanghai. But if you don't have it and only hold a seaman book, I'm afraid you need to apply for an entry permit in advance.
