About:Grand Canal Cruise Schedule

I'm going to Suzhou and can't seem to find much information on where I can take a gondola ride.

how much, and if there are any recommended routes (i.e. Panmen Gate to Changmen city gate)? I'm only looking to take it for a short distance, not for a few hours...

Well, the highlight boating on the canal is the nightview for around an hour. Is it ok for you? If so, the boats leave from Wanren Port near Nanhao Street. Take a taxi and ask the driver to take you there straightly.

Or just go to Renmin Bridge Port at no. 8, Renmin Road, Canglang District to catch the water bus fun on the canal. The operating hours are 10:00-11:00, 14:00-15:00 and 18:00-20:30.

Cool - does anyone have any information about water buses? Where the stations are, how much it costs, and how frequent?

You can take the water bus at Renmin Bridge Port and the ticket price is CNY 120. As far as I know, there is no specific schedule. Once all seats are taken, it will leave the wharf.
