About:Xian Taxi

My flight is landing at Xian airport 12:30 at night. Will it be safe to take a taxi from airport?

I have the option of asking the hotel to organise for a cab but they will charge me 3 times the cost if I take a cab from the airport. I do not speak the local language, will that be a problem in getting a cab?

You don’t need to worry about that. As a native of the city, I can surely tell you that you can get a taxi from the airport to the downtown easily. The taxi fare is about CNY100 – 120. If you have language problem, you can prepare a note for the Chinese Name or address of the hotel, which can be shown to the driver.
