About:Chengdu East Railway Station

12306 2nd passenger cannot key passport number

In the 12306 app when i adding passenger to my booking, i keyed passport number but the app keep error so i keyed ID number and it was ok. So when at the railway station, we show our passport also have ID number shown. Is it ok?

Sorry, I'm confused about ID number you mentioned. Is that your Singaporean ID Card Number or Chinese Permanent Resident Card Number? If it's a Singapore ID card number, I'm afraid no. Foreigners usually register with their passports. Maybe you can try again with passport no. as the system of English version of 12306 is not stable.
