A family with children day on Emeishan

travelling on golden week 7th october to emeishan with a 7+14 year old kids.

what would be the best way to travel the site without over exhausting all of us, but still walking through part of the park and experiencing the beautiful nature?
how long is the ride up by bus and may i get up and down the bus on different stops?
