About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

I am traveling to Beijing , I will have a visa.

I will be staying in Beijing for 3 days, then travel to Shanghai for 3 days, then to Hong Kong for 3 days. Do I need an netry permit to enter Shanghai or can I use the same one? After 3 days in Hong Kong I will be leaving there returning back to the USA.

Hi, Pam, how long is stay duration stated on your entry permit? I think it's of course more than six days, right? You can use the same to travel from Beijing to Shanghai. Actually, you can travel around with it as long as you don't exit and re-enter and your stay is within the limited duration.
