jinshanling to simatai west

Hi, I understand that Jinshanling to Simatai West is a one day walk, and you can combine it with a first day walk from Gubeikou to Jinshanling, with an overnight stay in Jinshanling. Has anyone any feedback on how this goes? Any particular likes or dislikes?
