About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Brief Hotel Stay by using 72 hour visa-free transit

Myself, wife and two young daughters have an eight hour transit to do in Beijing in a couple of weeks time. Has anyone ever used the 72 hour free transit to gain entry to PRC and then spend 5-6 hours at the nearby Hilton or similar? We will not clear our hold luggage and will already be checked through to Manila. We will have arrived from London and will all be in need of rest and a shower before travelling on. Any comments or thoughts please?
Thanks.

Neil, you can stay at a hotel for a rest when using the 72 hour free transit. After getting off from the planes, you can go to the 72 hour free transit counter and deal with the relevant procedures. After that, you can go to the nearby hotel to have a rest.
