brief visit to beijing

Hi,just want to make sure I get this right.I am flying Kathmandu - Beijing - Berlin and I am planning on staying in Beijing for 6 days/ less than 144 hours. Would this be feasible?If I arrive in China over another airport but then have a connecting flight to Beijing, I would not be eligible for the 144 hours visa, correct?Kind regards and thank you for answeringTim

Tim, the route Kathmandu - Beijing - Berlin is eligible for the 144h visa-free transit, but if you have a layover in another Chinese city, you would not be eligible.
