About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

If you are using a 72 hour transit visa, can you go to another country first?

Can you go to Tokyo first and then China and then back to the US and use a 72 hour free transit?

Ann, of course you can go to another country first. As long as the countries of your departure and arrival are different, it's fine.
